Hi Danny, there is no live streaming that I know of. I'll let you know (here and on FB) if I find any streaming of this exciting World Qualifier. I am rooting for Mr. Alex to make a comeback and ultimately bring the Championship back to the USA.

You have probably seen the "chessarbiter" link for the World Qualifier, but it won't hurt to link it again:

Of course, under "other" you can track the progress of the Women's World Championship and the Youth World Championship.

Sergio Scarpitta wins the 2016 3-Move World Qualifier and this sets the stage for Sergio Scarpitta to challenge the 3-Move World Champion Michele Borghetti in 2017. In the mean time, it is Michele Borghetti who will challenge GAYP World Champion Sergio Scarpitta in July, 2016. The results of the 2016 WQT are:

1 Scarpetta, Sergio ITA
2 Moiseyev, Alex USA
3 Bernini, Matteo ITA
4 Kondlo, Lubabalo Nicholas RSA
5 Beckwith, Richard USA
6 Durdyev, Baghtiyar TKM
7 Martynov, Igor GER
8 Morrison, Jim USA
9 Price, Colin BAR
10 Durdyev, Maksat TKM
11 Durdyev, Bashim TKM
12 Sokolovsky, Mark USA
13 Umala, Patrick UGA
14 Joliff, John ENG
15 Layne, Kent BAR
16 Katamba, Nicholas UGA

Mr. Alex fought with the heart of a lion scoring 22 points, but Sergio Scarpitta won the tournament with 23 points. Mr. Alex will be in good form to compete in the American Chacker Federation National Tournament in Branson, Missouri, USA in July 2016.

The GAYP World Championship Match is over with challenger Michele Borghetti defeating Champion Sergio Scarpitta in a tough closely fought match with 1 win and 23 draws in favor of the new GAYP Word Champion, GM Michele Borghetti. With the final score, 25-23, GM Michele Borghetti adds the GAYP Crown to his 3-Move Crown. This brings ups back to the recent 3-Move World Qualifier where GM Sergio Scarpitta won the right to challenge the 3-Move World Champion Michele Borghetti next year in the 3-Move World Championship Match that could go a maximum of 40 games.
