Hello Patrick:

Is the bus out of the question? Thumbing nowadays is a bit dangerous, but I appreciate your deisre to play in Medina.

Wish I lived closer to you to help you get to Ohio, but I am already in Ohio !

Take care and see you next month.

Sincerely:
Alan Millhone, President

Albert Tucker is the only player I know of in LA. Have you contacted him?

If you are not able to go with LA local as Albert, then taking a bus to the location of someone who you can ride with who is in between LA and Medina might be more efficient too.

Yea, gas prices are pretty ridiculous. Just PM some of the popular checkers players on the forum here (some have their location posted you'll see in the memberlist at top of this page) and most likely they won't mind at all you riding with em. Sometimes when ya need help, you have to contact individuals personally -- the majority usually doesn't responds to public requests for help unless you yell FIRE Image I've heard

I think Clayton Nash may be going....he is "next door" in Mississippi, but I don't know his travel plans in detail
