Ratings Update

Here are the most recent ratings. All the US tournaments are up to date. I have not put in majors and minors for the 11-man in Branson because I have not received the crosstables yet. As soon as I receive them the tournaments will be entered. Keep in mind that the true "active" rating list really only includes players who have played since 2015. I will be getting a complete list of the active ratings in the ACF bulletin within the near future.

Yes, the ACF will be assigning titles to players. However, as of now the ACF is only going to assigning titles to ACF players. Though that may be changing. I will keep you informed about it.

I am interested in knowing more about the titles. Approximately when will titles be issued to ACF (members?) players? Just an approximate guess is good enough. And will the criteria be released too ( that way folks know how to achieve each title).

I am not yet in a position to give a date that the titles will be issued to ACF members. I would like to get the title system implemented before Nationals if possible, though I am not sure how long the process will take. I will release the complete criteria sometime soon, though I suppose I can provide the very basics. There will be three titles a player can achieve: Expert, Master, Grandmaster. To achieve a title, a player will need to meet certain performance and rating norms. Our plan is to give out badges to players who achieve a title. That specifically was Alex's idea as him and I have discussed much of the details in depth. I will have more to come later.

I do not want to give anything away yet, but I can say that great progress has been achieved over this last month on establishing ACF titles. I will continue to keep everyone informed.

Michael, we are almost there. I am currently finalizing title requirements for all players, but for the most part the lists are complete. I will see if by next week if maybe I can post something. MY goal is to have updated ACF ratings and titles in the next ACF bulletin for June.

Perhaps not earlier then August due to upcoming elections and slow process of legislature process.

Preliminary lists of GM's, Masters and Experts are circulated among ACF the whole thing is but still in the air. We also have to approve rules and requirements.
