SIXTH exists !

SIXTH was printed two days ago in Ukraine, and today was mailed to United States (myself) and England (Dr. John Reade). Due to very expensive "avia mail", only small portion of the whole stock will be mailed this way. Most of the books will go through regular mail, which will be longer.

I should get first copies of SIXTH from avia-mail on June 4-7. It is very possible that Dr. Reade get his portion of SIXTH earlier than me !

As I said - number of avia mails is extremely limited. Dr. Reade should get 14 books in June. All other he will get in late July - beginning of August.

People, who already paid for the book will get it first (indeed !) - as soon as I have them in my house. If anyone wants to have books prior (or during) National - you should better order it now. Otherwise - all other books to the rest will be available after couple months.

I have also seen a little of this book when I was at the IL tourney. Although moiseyev and I have major differences I am a firm believer in stating facts. The work done on this book must have been enormous. I also believe that the quality of this work is excellent. This is a great opportunity to learn the strategy the top player in the world uses. The games contained in the book are important and will be a great insight to anyone but the comments (mostly about the strategy) about the moves are invaluable and will improve anyone

It is true that price of book is high. Another true is - I took in the bank a personal unsecured loan (12.6% interest) and have to pay a certain amount of $$$ every month.

So far I spent more than $5,500 and it is still not over yet. These money were taken out of my family and kids.

This is certainly not a good and smart way to invest

I wish everyone can afford it and hope this happened some day.

This book is my small feedback to checkers fraternity. Derek Oldbury was the only World Champion who wrote books. I'll try to fill this gup.

I also hope everyone who reads this book will learn strategy. In the SIXTH on the most occasions I tried to explain WHY move has been been made.

If you buy it, it is not only financial support, but also somehow shows me that my time and efforts I spent were not for nothing.
