I know the crossboard player is Mike Barker - he played in the 1988 US Nat Ty.
Game #261 of Complete Checkers quotes a postal game between M Barber and Nigel Proffitt (as given in the 2001 ID Ty Book). My question is: is this correct or is it actually the same Mike Barker?
M Barber or M Barker?

Re: M Barber or M Barker?
hi Richard this is Kent Layne from Barbados. His name is Mike Barker also from Barbados.
You can look at my draw Against Sergio in the world quli last year 3 move.Im not a very strong 3 move player like as in go as you please but i was determine not for him to dash me 2-0.
I would not call Mike a cross board player unless he was at that time.

Many thanks! Should there be another edition of CC, this correction will go in.

Richard, what correction ? If you are talking about 32-28 in game #1 - M. Tinsley played this move with Chinook in their 1992 historical match.Richard Pask wrote:Many thanks! Should there be another edition of CC, this correction will go in.
BTW. I have a bad memory ... there is a good chance that it was Chinook move, not MFT. Maybe someone can check this in game database ?

Dear Alex,
Relax. My correction refers to the fact that the entry in CC should read 'M Barker' and not 'M Barber'. Nothing more!
