3 move WTQ 2018
Hi to all
I've been a bit out of it for a while, but when and where is the 3 move WTQ in 2018...I'll more than likely be putting my name forward to the SDA to represent my country.

Bill, It would be good to see you back in a World Qualifier. The site is still to be determined, as bids for the 3-move event are taken until 1 December 2017. There is also a need to have a European site host the 2018 European Championship too.

Hi Again Richard
My decision to participate in the 3 move World qualifier 2018 has been taken. I'm back into tough training, having not played a game since 2009!! (checkers)...
Could you tell me when and where the event will be held?
Thanks
William

I hear they were looking at October 1-5, but not yet final. I'm not yet aware of any conflicts with other major international tournaments with those proposed dates.

Michael, Has your e-mail changed? -- we haven't heard from you recently on USA-Italy match.
About World Qualifier dates -- I personally like a little more time separation too (so I passed on that idea to them, haven't heard back yet). But I don't know what other venue options are available, and there is also a similar concern of running event too close to the Irish Open. Secondly, folks across the Atlantic likely prefer having dates for US National and WQT closer, so they can place both events without paying an extra costly trans-Atlantic flight.

I sent emails (not sure they were correct except for JR's) to Alan, JR, and moiseyev that I could not attend the USA vs Italy in April due to a work conflict. It seems they did not get it. I also don't have access to yahoo email anymore.
