Frank Davis died 3:30 PM 12/21/2018. Frank celebrated his 83rd birthday 12/1/18. Frank and wife Mary were the backbone of Tennessee and Southern States Checkers, serving as president of both organizations and holding their annual tournaments for many years.

Frank will be missed greatly in this great game. Sorry to hear of this lose. May his family be conforted by the hands of God.

Great man, great loss for family, checkers and friends. Truly country man with great heart and spirit.

I miss him. My deep sympathy to family members and friends who knew him, who loved him, who missed him.

Very sad news. One of the kindness men I ever met. Also a great guy for checkers. Will be missed.

Sad news. Frank and Mary were very kind people and long-time promoters of checker tournaments. Condolences to Mary and family.
