I received a complaint that the voting button was missing on the contest page.
There have not been any votes recorded in the last week or so.
Please confirm either here on the Forum or by e-mail to me.
If the voting machine has crashed, I don't know how to fix it.
I hope somebody does.

Re: Is Contest 50 working?
Hi Bill, for me on my computer this problem goes back to Contest 49, but late in the contest I was able to review the problems and vote. After that it was an intermittent problem, but I voted early in Contest 50 being able to review the problems and vote. Lately it seems to become more of a "permanent" problem again. I did not attempt to vote when the review answer rectangle buttons were missing and the "view animation" links lead to an essetially blank ACF screen. Also, when the contest is down, most if the links on the ACF home page do not work.

Re: Is Contest 50 working?
Hi Bill, the contest seemed to be working for about a minute after my above post. I used some of the links on the ACF home page that were not working, I saw the "review solution" rectangle buttons under the contest diagrams on the Contest 50 page, and was able use a "view animation" link with a fully functioning problem diagram. Then it all went back to not functioning.

The Contest was up then down again, also when the contest is up, the Weekly Random Game appears in the upper right hand corner of the ACF home page. That is probably the best "at a glance" way to tell if the contest is working.

Re: Is Contest 50 working?
I've never had any problem with the site. Could it be browser dependent? Usually a self-contained site such as usacheckers will be either completely up or completely down.
More disturbing to me is that the site is no longer updated. No news updates in over two years, the President's Corner is almost five years old, and the Player's Rep Corner is over seven years old. Doesn't represent the ACF very well.
