English checkers for Russians

I set up the English Checkers group on Facebook specifically to introduce the game to Russians, all talking in Russian, many solutions in Russian chess notation, all this to minimize the discomfort of the unusual to them numeric notation. I do some lessons, Mark Sokolovsky is active too, and also Vadim Lapin and Alex Moiseyev. The few Russians are watching but do not yet respond.

Despite my one year of Russian enabling me to read almost nothing in Russian, the problems/positions in this group are very interesting. Spacibo bolshoi!

It was fun to create solutions in algebraic notation, its possible to trick Aurora into it.

i really wish v kaplan hadnt put his pool books into notation. why use it?

Kaplan's books are for the Pool checkers, not the Straight checkers.
