2021 NATIONAL ACF 3-MOVE CHECKER TOURNAMENT
Tulsa, Oklahoma October 4-7
Free Entry Free ACF Membership
$32,000 Prize Money

Dear Checker Player:

This will be a four-day event. Majors and Minors will play 10 rounds (20 games). Two rounds will be played on Monday, October 4, three rounds Tuesday, October 5 and Wednesday, October 6 and two rounds, Thursday, October 7. Masters will play 12 rounds (24 games). Three rounds Monday through Thursday. The awards ceremonies will be after the final round. The entry fee is Minors $20, Majors $30, Masters $50. Current ACF membership will be required. If you are not a current member the major sponsors will pay for your membership. The major sponsors will pay for your entry fee and add it to the prize fund. Sponsors will also pay for your membership in the Missouri Checker Association.

The site will be the Marriot Courtyard Tulsa Central, 3340 S.79th. E. Ave.,Tulsa 74145. The phone number is (918) 660-0646. When making reservations be sure to indicate that you are with ACF and playing in the tournament. It is important that you do this as early as possible. The rate is $101 per night including tax. You may register for the tournament on Sunday evening or the next morning before the first round. Play will begin each day at 8:30 a. m. There will be a short meeting on Monday before the first round. It is very important that every player be at this meeting.

The hotel will provide a complimentary playing room, free hot breakfast, internet access, and free parking. The hotel also serves lunch. Google Tulsa Courtyard Center for more details. The hotel is about ten minutes from Tulsa International Airport and about ten minutes from downtown. Interstate 44 is three blocks from the hotel. Several restaurants are within walking distance.

The honoree for the 2021 tournament will be Alex Moiseyev.

There are several interesting things to see in the Tulsa Area. The Gathering Place is a nationally recognized park a few minutes away, the J. M. Davis Gun Collection is in Claremore about 25 minutes from Tulsa, Woolaroc Museum is 50 minutes away; the Dalton Defenders museum is in Coffeyville, Kansas, about 75 minutes from Tulsa. The Gilcrease museum and Jenks Aquarium are nearby.
There will be at least $32,000 in prize money... the largest fund ever for any national tournament! This money will be divided among the top players in three categories: The approximate amount will be: Masters $21,420 ($5,000 to winner), Majors $7,230 and Minors $4,130. The major sponsors of this event are David Seres of Newport Beach, Calif., Dr. Ken Seres of Edmond, Okla. and Jeannie and Joe McDaniel of Tulsa, Okla.

I haven’t post anything here for long time. Just want to remind you that USA ACF National will be play this year in Tulsa, Oklahoma, November 29 (Monday) thru December 2 (Thursday).

Below is email from Joe McDaniel which I received today:

This is new……We will provide your noon meal, Monday thru Thursday. Will have Pizza, sandwiches etc. We also have additional sponsorship for hotel costs.



The following will help you with expenses; Free entry, free Missouri Checker Assn. membership, free ACF membership (if not already a member) free hotel for most everyone, $400 for four nights. The hotel will have a free breakfast and your noon meal will be free. You will be on your own for the evening meal.



Please spread the word. We want to have a big crowd.
