I hear GUI-NN is moving up.

I don't know much about the Binomial one, it's claimed to be strongest, but it's way beyond my price range so I've never tried it.
So I wonder why the Chinook has lagged far behind in relation to the Cake and KR.

What do you like about checkers?: I like the history of checkers and I enjoy the application of computers to the game. See ZoeZap.com for my program, "CheckerPlayer".

The main reason is that the development of Chinook ceased in the 1990s. Like most game-playing programs of that era, it used a traditional linear evaluation function. Modern programs employ machine-learning techniques and have made rapid improvements. This is true for checkers, chess and other board games such as Othello.

Would be great if he would give us permission to sell the software(wyllie) draughts and have funds go to youth fund or something he likes the program is way out of date but it would be cool for nostalgia perhaps. It is the only capable program I dont have.

Sorry to ask, and what programs do you have to play.

I would still like to buy two programs Wyllie Draughts Pro and Nexus. Thank you in advance for any information.
