Football World Cup

Post by Ingo_Zachos »

Now after, the first matches here in Germany have been played, who do you think will win the World Cup ?

I would put my money on either the Czech Republic or the Netherlands, as these team r a mixture of talented players that no other country possesses at the time.
And I would not underestimate the team from Switzerland.
They were lucky with a lot of referee decisions at the Qualifing stage, and that was always a good indicator of the prospects of the teams.

I can't vote against Germany. Host countries always seem to shine and they have a pretty good team as it is.

The most talented team IS Brasil - Holland and Czech will reach quarters at most. Czech will probably get bumped in the first round.

Germany is the team to your money on. I can't stress how much home soil plays a factor in the World Cup.

I almost guarantee a Brasil vs. Germany finals rematch.

Ghana beats Czech 2-0

USA is tied 1-1 with Italia at half time. Both teams recieved red cards in the first half.

Yes, today was a day of great surprises, and we saw to Top-Favoites struggeling.
looks like Spain, Argentina and Germany r the only teams with two conving games, as Netherlands, England and Ecuador were kucky, but not strong.

Looks like the cards have been shuffled anew

What do you like about checkers?: I enjoy learning more and more as i go. despite its alleged simplicity the game is incredibly complex and rewarding.
