WCDF GAYP WQT 2025 in Italy

Just remind you that WCDF GAYP WQT this year will take place in Italy, October 12-19. I highly encourage outstanding American players take part of this event and join party and compete against some top players in the world.

Last news regarding Italy bid for 2025 GAYP WQT in October. I’ve got email from organisers that Aquileia hotel will have renovations starting October 1st and will not be available.

Organizers apologise for any inconvenience and instead offering even better deal.

New venue will be in Zoppolo (90 kilometers from Trieste) which is even closer to Venice and easy transportation, all hotel proces are about the same, but there will be free buffet for lunch and dinner (WOW!) and larger playing facility and ..: free wine and soda drinks during the day … not sure about details.

More details are coming. We are working with organisers on updating documents.

I am still waiting feedback from National Frdetations with nominations.

It seems like we truly need a fresh blood for checkers and i decided that more likely i’ll take part of this show and go to Italy this year - most important and respectable annual WCDF event.
