2025 VIDOR WORLD CHECKERS FESTIVAL

The 3rd of 4 tournaments will be the USA NATIONALS JUNE 30-JULY 3 2025.

This promises to be huge drawing the best from around the world! We will have the American Team and South African Teams present. We have commitment from Crispin Odhiambo. We are expecting the top players.
There will be 3 divisions...Masters, Majors and Minors. Do not miss!

This is the 3rd of 4 major tournaments at the Vidor Checkers Festival!

I personally invite everyone come here and be part of this very special 2025 Draughts event: “Vidor Draughts Festival” and be part of it! I played in all ACF 3-moves National tournaments since 1996 (except 2002) and honestly can confirm - this one is expected to be the strongest, greatest and most attractive!

In nowadays when checkers are consistently on decline, it is very important that each and all of us do everything we can to help our old, lovely, fashion game to keep alive!

Little bit more details about Vidor Draughts Festival

1) International 3-move match USA vs South Africa, 3 days, 6 rounds, June 26-28 (Thursday - Saturday).

Time control 45m+20s to each player for each game.

2) 3-moves Blitz, Robin Round (depends on number of attendees), time control 3m+3s to each player for 1 game, entry fee $20, first prize presumably $500 or more, June 29 (Sunday)

3) ACF 3-moves National, June 30 - July 3 (Monday - Thursday), 10 Swiss rounds 2+3+3+2. Time control 40m + 15s to each player for 1 games.

3 Divisions.

Entry fee - $50 in Master Division, 1st prize in Master Division - $2,000 or more

4) ACF 11 man Ballot National & WQT: winner or 2nd finisher if I will be a winner, get rights to play next year World Title Match. July 4-6 (Friday - Sunday), 7 Swiss rounds 3+3+1. Time control 40m+15s to each player for 1 game.

Entry fee $30, first price presumable $1,000 or more.

Most or all events and games will be play in City Hall … depends of attendance.

Special events:

Sunday June 30, evening (after Blitz) - Watson Buffett

Friday July 4, evening - local Salute for July 4 Independence Day
