"The Sum Total of its Parts=One Book Later"-answer
A very very few checker books were first published in "Parts" and at different dates in time. Later those "Parts" were combined and published in "One Book". "Checker Trivia question of the Day"? Name 3 well known checker books that were published in this way? (Cont.)

Tescheleilts "Master Play",
Fortman's "Basic Checkers",
BTW:
BDP and BC were first published in magazines, not as books.
Ketchum's Handy "Handy Manual No. 2" and
the "Enclycpoledia of Draughts" by Kear were also published in parts, and later reprints were in one volume, so I guess it must be more then just three, all of them opening references.

Boy Pal and Ingo really gave this question the old one-two punch; coming up with the correct answers almost immediately. British Draughts Player, Kears Encyclopedia and Tescheleits Masterplay. (Cont.)
