Does anyone know if the games from the World Qualifier are available? I need those games to help with my annotations.

Jim,

I haven't seen any games (other than my own). Graham Young was putting some games into Checkerboard during the tournament week, and was considering adding annotations....however, I haven't heard anymore about it since, although.... these things do take time when done by one person. Last year, Igor distributed unnannotated games for free.

I saw rumors of a Qualifier in Barbados or somewhere a couple years ago. Did those games just drop into a black hole?

Yes, I'm afraid so, Jim. That event was held in 2004. Michael Holmes and Clayton Nash were there for U.S. as participants The only games I know of were some of Michael's that he sold along with his "cooks and odd play" combo.
