A time back I was given a group of old photos on album pages. I have a couple dated in the upper border : Sept. 1958 and note seated in the front row Mr. Tommie Wiswell with a Checkerboard standing against his shins. To his right (seated) is Mr. Walter Michalis and Mr. Bobby Martin. To the left of Tommie is a seated man and then a row of men behind whose faces I do not recognize ? Tommie also in the photo is not sporting his trademark hat
Any information as to this encounter and any names would be appreciated. I have another photo of players who may be the Canadian Team, but that is speculation. Also one photo shows Bobby Martin being presented a trophy. The photos are all stuck to the pages, but other than some minor yellowing on a few photos, I find the group most interesting.Sincerely:
