"If Nominated I Shall Not Run for the ACF Presidency

Charismatic checker feline personality "Inky" stated emphatically (during an interview today) that if he were nominated that he would not be running for the presidency of the ACF in the next election. Asked why he remarked that he is far to busy in his present position as official ACF mascot; plus Alan was doing an excellent job according to all recent polls that have been conducted and sanctioned by the ACF membership. There is no doubt that Alan is the most deserving and qualified person for this position. He has shown us that he has the heart and soul to get the job done--(and judging from his performance while in office, on a scale of 1-10, Alan certainly merits a 10 plus). In closing "Inky" stated that he personally preferred dealing with mice over men because they have far less tails to trail.

Although I have resigned myself to the fact that I will not be running for the ACF presidency in 2007 I will on the other hand be seeking another ACF office; therefore your most kind and thoughtful vote will be greatly appreciated. "Inky"
