"Loras College Library Welcomes the "6th"

Post by Mr. Checkers »

Today the Loras College rare book library was presented with a beautiful numbered copy of the "6"--which was autographed by its author, Alex Moiseyev. This was the first gift ever donated to the library from the "World Champion of Checkers". The Loras College libraries extensive rare book holdings date back many years BC. The "6th" becomes a most welomed addition to Loras's fine collection of rare checker literature, which dates back to 1650 AD.

It should be mentioned that Alex was an honored guest of the Loras College Library in May of 2004, which was his first visit there.
