results of Bagnell Dam tourney

This is results of tourney at Oma Noma Day Tourney below.The Beginner section we had 6 new children come play. None of them had ever played in a checker tourney but loved it.

Cody Kramer (age 10) 9pts 2nd place
Katie Oppliager (age 13) 8pts tie for 3rd
Joe Oliver (age 13) 8pts tie for 3rd
Heather Craig (age13) 5pts 4th
Jessica Smith (withdrew)

What style did each the group play? GAYP? 3-Move?

Is Joe Oliver related to the famous King Joe Oliver, leader of King Oliver's Creole Jazz Band, the first band to make real jazz records back in 1923?
