Alabama Hotel Phone Number Correction
Hello everyone:
I had a call on my answering machine from Mr. Larry Pollard inviting me to come to Haleyville, Alabama on the 17-18th. of this month. Play begins on Friday at 10:00 AM. The hotel # is listed incorrectly in the Mo. Newsletter (should be 205-486-5205) and rooms are $39.00 per night for a double room !
I would love to attend ,but will be traveling to Petal on the end of this month to be the match referee for the GAYP Title Match between Mr. Ron 'Suki' King and Mr. Jim Morrison.
The upcoming Alabama Tournament will be one of the last before the Winter months arrive and no tournaments till Spring. I encourage anyone reading my posting to seriously consider going to the Alabama Tourney.
Sincerely:

Many thanks to directors and Mary Davis who finely performed a duties of referee. Meeting with mayor and TV coverage were awesome !
In addition I can prove - in Alabama they are running water every day, and every round a bottle of nice cold water was on my table !
I played some good games except one with Albert Tucker
Sincerely,
Alex
