Hello ACF Members:

Our top ACF contributor and Life ACF Member Mr. Victor Niederhoffer contacted me last night and has issued a $500.00 challenge to all ACF Members. Mr. Niederhoffer has a top investment web site called Daily Speculations. Many of you have seen his book THE EDUCATION OF A SPECULATOR . In his book he devotes one chapter on how board games and his many years of association with Mr. Tommie Wiswell influenced his life and investing. " Here's something that you could help me on and perhaps yourself. I think there's a model here from checkers as there is in most things. I'm looking for a position where you constantly chip away at the enemies defenses , then fall back, and then eventually come back and break through for the win. First or fourth position comes to mind but I am sure there are much better illustrations. I'll pay $500.00 to the best explaination of a position in checkers that duplicates this typical market movement of moving to a high, backing off, then moving to a high, again backing off, only at the end to score a decisive break thru. The answer should hopefully be understandable to someone who does not understand checker notation or does not wish to get out a board. If you desire to use an illustrative diagram the pieces need to be on the dark aquares and not on the light ones."
