If his knowledge is worth 975 Dollars, how much is a Grandmaster or a World Champion ??

I would save the money and buy Alex' "The Sixth" and follow this forum closely :-)

BTW:
I would be available at the price of a trip to the US and a reasonable hotel.

Tonight my son asked a copy of SIXTH for school fund raising  It will be a great honor for me if some of kids or parents buy it. Several people suggested me include in the beginning of SIXTH definition of game rules and notation. I didn't do it  but now I think - it won't be a bad idea !

Sincerely,

Alex

That correct, he's not selling a book, the auction reads, "You are bidding on my knowledge of Checkers. So folks bid strong and hard and you too will become Checker Championin (of) your neighborhood. "

It looks like your $975.oo won't buy you much here, so save yourself $940.oo by buying World Champion Alex Moiseyev's book Sixth - Vol. 1 for only $35.oo and you will end up being the champion checker player of your neighborhood and your pockets will be full of money to boot.

Regards, "Pal" Bucker

PS.
The auction is a joke, just some lame kid trying to "dis" his checker buddy.

And this person will eventually get the $900+ after the auction is over?

If anybody bids on this "item", he will get the money.

But, as I said, pay my flight and a resonable hotel and you can get cheaper training lessons.
Most likely even reigning World Champion Alex Moiseyev can give you much cheaper lessons, it is like the book "How to make the most of 1 Dollar" for the price of 99 Dollars.
Better keep your money 8)

You may have all the books you want, it may not make you a champion.
