Computer question from Alan Millhone

Post by Alan Millhone »

Hello Everyone:

I have had my Gateway desk top since 1999 and am thinking about a new unit ! I will also have to change my email address as my provider 'Wirefire' has become terrible to use. I am considering a laptop with Broadband Connect bulit into the unit and have a 'docking station' as well. lately I have been 'bombarded' by Dell with many offers, but am told that Gateway is # 1 in customer satisfaction ?? All advice will be appreciated on this matter. The 'wreless' laptop would be nice to have along at all the tournaments I attend. I want it for email and to hold a checker program.

Sincerely:
Alan Millhone, President

Here are is some free advice :)

1. Buy a laptop with lots of ram preferrebly 2 gb
2. Get a Gmail account (http://www.gmail.com) - I can send you an invitation if you need one. That way you can always send and receive email no matter where you are as long as you have internet access
