English Matchplay title

I have just received my copy of the EDA journal and notice that Len Chandler is the new English matchplay champion. Does anyone have any info about the match?.

Hi Dave,
I was informed by Dennis Pawlek that Richard Pask was not going to defend his English Match Play title and that Brian Lucas had been asked to play Len. This is all I know.

Actualy Brian already did agree to play.
Just the all of us together can improve checkers!

What has happened to Pask's tournament participation? Has he retired from OTB play? When was his last tournament? When was his last Match?
