Post by Alan Millhone »

Hello everyone:

Close to thirty of the 40 numbered copies have been sold to date. You can order one thru our ACF Store or thru Mr. Gerry Lopez. I am confident the remainder will sell out quickly. This is a courtesy update and not intended to create any panic ordering of the remaining numbered books.

Sincerely:

8 IM Book Contents

Post by Michael Holmes »

I received my books today and I have enjoyed reading the many fine comments and analysis by Moiseyev, Dr. Beckwith, Jim Loy, Gene Lindsay, Karl Albrecht, Leo Levitt, Gerry Lopez, John Webster, Richard Fortman, Bob Murr, and Mac Banks (I hope I did not leave anyone out). The nice thing about this book is the way many of the comments from the different individuals are given on the same game and same move. This sort of gives you different perspectives and ideologies of what good formations and moves are about.

Also, the recent addition of plenty of diagrams to the books published lately really add value for those of us who learn landings (positions). This book has its good share of diagrams too.

This is a terrific book. I will post more later about the openings it covers.
