It was a young mans calling to become a preach.And as he finished his studies he was deciding on where to settle down and preach to the people.On his journey he ran upon a small town and as going threw he spotted a old church on the end of town.He stopped stepped out of his car and stood in front of it.
Why he stopped he had no idea,but it had to be God speaking threw this old building so he got back in his car and turned around to see if he could find the preacher who had preached there.In town he stopped and asked who the preacher was in town but had sad answer that he had passed on and they had no preacher.
The young preacher told them he was a preacher and he would love to restore the old church before Christmas Eve.So the town watched as this young man started working on the old church.Everyone seemed happy to help.But then a storm hit and with a hole in the roof seem no time to fix .
A old woman came to the young preacher and said all i have is this table cloth but it is big and may help cover the hole in the roof.The preacher excepted it and placed it up over the hole and the old woman said,i am glad that it will bring good use.For back in my younger days that was bought by my husband and in war time he had to go fight, it was very special to me.It has been 35yrs and i have never heard or seen him since.
The young man then offered to take the woman home,the weather was bad ,cold and snowy.He then returned to the church in order to get ready for Christmas Eve sermon.
The next morning a stranger entered the church cold and lost,the young preacher was cleaning up.And the old man said,lovely table cloth,looks like one i have seen before.But then the preacher said well i know the lady who gave it to me,let me take u there.
This was a miracle, a young preacher,a old building, and a tablecloth,and a couple back together after 35yrs,and a Christmas Eve Sermon.
