As with many polls I find none of the answers fully describes my sentiments, which I have already expressed.

Myself and the missus just got back from the Annula Inishowen Dinner-Dance and Awards presentations in Buncrana.

Its an absolute credit to comittee of the Inishowen Draughts club who put on a great show on this scale.About 300 attended and a fine celebration of another years work from this progressive club.

The President Mr J.J.McGee gave a fine speech as did the Chairman followed by a lovely display of Donegal Crystal and Bouquets of flowers for the appreciative audience.

A good nite of music and craic was had by all and the celebrations went on till the wee hours. Secretary Gerald Callaghan and his hard working team deserve all the accolades for another great occasion.

Wow! Tommy,
What a fabulous night you seem to have had.

Here on the Forum, we recently had a doleful musical evening in which the following were the top requests:

1. See you later Moderators - Bill Haley and the Comets.

2. A four legged friend, a four legged friend, he'el never let you down
- Roy Rogers.

3. What's new Pussycat - Tom Jones.

4. How Much is that Doggie in the Window (wuff. wuff) - Doris Day.

Oops! - Mea culpa, Tommy.
I promise never to repeat the offending Word again.

I hope that many of our American cousins will come over to Buncrana in October and join in the festival (and festivities) of Draughts.
Who knows? I might even be able to persuade my old friend Katie Daly to come down from that mountain and attend.
