The 2007 MO Tournament, April 28th and 29th, was a delight in every sense. They provided food and coffee and some door prizes. I won a $25.00 door prize which was a gift card to Walmart. I know there was another $25.00 gift card given out and other door prizes too.
I sold some books and checkers and I was able to see a draft copy of a book Gene Rader and Roger are putting together. It is already an awesome endgame book with great detail and analysis.
Finally, the atmosphere was very, very pleasant. No bickering or disagreements and plenty of laughter and friendship.
