From last week..in my local newspaper

Greetings fellow checkerists....
These articles BOTH appeared ON THE SAME DAY in my local (Reading, PA. USA) newspaper last week...... a possible resurgance in checkers.....???





Wanting to do my part to help ensure that there is a future to our game.....I want to approach them.....but I do not quite know how to do it.
( I should probably, first, show them how to properly arrange their boards, lol)
I am looking for ANY suggestions, guidance, comments from anyone......

Jay, just go in there and play!!! You might get a club started that way!!!
Wish that was in my home town. Ive played chess and checkers at the local coffee shop and at the park , you can bring more people to the game that way!!!
