"Tournament Fun for Everyone"--the Pa. Ck. Ty.

Post by Mr. Checkers »

Our fondest memories of checkers come from the many wonderful experiences that we shared with our checker friends at the Pa. Checker Tournament (go to the ACF Forum--click on the "History Tab" and then click on "Checkers in the News" to find "Tournament Fun for Everyone"). Ed Bruch, Norman Wexler, Harold Freyer, Les Balderson, Doug Hughson, Fernie Moffett, Elbert Lowder, Tim Laverty, Louis Cowie, Tony Kozenski, Alex Moiseyev, Richard Beckwith and Alan Millhone, were but a few of the great names in checkers whose presence was to be found there over the years. You can't beat that--excellent checkers against the very best players. We will be looking forward to seeing each and everyone of you there for "Tournament Fun for Everyone".

Thanks for the good words, Ms. Becky

I will be bringing Louis Cowie, and I understand Mr. Alex and Alan will be there as well. Tony Kozenski always does a nice job at having this fine venue in place for us.

Please watch out for roadside "amoeba's!!. An inside bit of humor that only Tony, Louis and Mr. Checkers will appreciate.

Yes, I will pass that on....we still talk about those highway "amoebas" occasionally.

The checker community can rest assured in knowing that they are an environmentally friendly specie of amoeba's.

 Since I will not be able to attend this most prestigious checker event (which has a lot of wonderful memories for me) I would like to wish all of my close friends there the very best in their pursuit of checker excellence. "Mr. Checkers"
