This is really a sad news. I was hoping to see him in October during playing my upcoming match on Barbados. He was a real gentlemen and a true lover of checkers.

Great lost for checkers. My deep sympathy to all his friends and relatives.

Passing of Mr. Walcott

Post by Alan Millhone »

Hello Checker/Draughts Players:

First I want to thank Mr. Bob Murr for posting the article on Mr. Walcott.

I received a letter and the obituary from Mr. Richard E. Clarke of Barbados. I met Mr. Clarke when I had the honor of helping referee the USA Vs. Barbados Team Match a few years ago. Mr. Clarkes sent me a very nice letter and included the article on Mr. Walcott and asked it be placed on the forum and in our ACF Bulletin.

I found Mr. Walcott very professional in every way and he will be missed by many in our playing community.

" AT LAST MY TROPHIES I LAY DOWN "

Sincerely:
