Thanks Lindus, it's always nice to see the pictures of those we read about.
Those old news paper pictures and write-ups are neat.
Thanks again - Pal

Re: Welsh Open 2007 Pics
Hi Patrick,
As you will see from the photos my main concentration was on the players but I did however take a few snaps of the playing room which I will add shortly. Many of my photos are taken from a seated position as I am, as you probably know, reliant upon a crutch to gain locomotion
The playing room was cool (I detest sweltering rooms which are often soporific) and therefore conducive to my needs. A wonderful venue for which I am grateful to my good friend John Morgan for obtaining.

Lindus, everything was perfect with photos except one thing only - your own photos are completely missing in this fine gallery

Re: Welsh Open 2007 Pics
Great photos, Lindus, including some youthful looking ones of yourself from days of yore! and some fine pictures of your father, Bill Edwards.
I wonder if anyone can identify the players in that one of the London Draughts Club from the 1950's. Len Chandler perhaps ?
I can only name 3 with any degree of certainty:
Back row, first on left: C. J. Greensword.
Middle row, third from left: Jack Latham.
Front row, fifth from right (behind the draughts board): Willie Hicks.

Hi Liam,
In the photo taken at a London Draughts Club (I have no idea where exactly) you will see Derek Oldbury in the front row with Percy Crabbe(wearing glasses) next to him. My late father is standing next to Jack Latham. I will add more details to this photo shortly.
Lindus.
