Richmond, Ky. Tournament

Post by Alan Millhone »

Hello Everyone:

I will post results tonight after 6 rounds have been played. Currently Charles Freeman was leading by 8 points after two rounds of play yesterday. Mr. Leon Creek is doing his usual fine job as referee.

Any Illinois results as yet ?

Ky. Ty. After 6 Rounds:

Post by Alan Millhone »

Hello Everyone;

Masters after 6 rounds:

Brattin: 9 points (withdrew after 5 rounds)
Freeman: 20 points
Harvell: 5
Hedrick: 12
A. Mays: 14 (withdrew after 6 rounds)
A. Millhone 16
H. Reed: 13
Dr. Shuffett: 12
K. Shultz: 8
B. Woolum: 10

Charles Freeman (wonder if he is any relation to Clarence Freeman, " The Champion beater" ) and I are re-paired tomorrow for final round. The price I pay for doing so well this tournament :-) If I won both sides of opening tomorrow I can tie his points.

Minors: Finished up all of their seven rounds tonight:

S. Mays: 17 points ( first time we believe him winning the minors)
Boyd Smith 10
T. Williamson 14
Gary Wilson 15

Smith and Williamson came from Huntington,W.Va. and first time at Ky. Ty. :-)
