Still January 1st, 2007 - and today is October. Maybe we have different calendar in Europe and July is not passed yet ? At least it was enough time to give a reasonable OFFICIAL explanation of delay and setting new deadlines.

In this case at least we know exactly when we should expect new delays and excuses

Lets see ... I don't think we had more than 20-25 State & National & local tournaments in USA since January 2007. In addition we had about 10-15 more checkers events in the rest of the World (not too many people play Anglo-American checkers outside of USA).

So - the maximum number is 40 events. It takes approximately 60-90 minutes to process one event - to enter data in the proper format and run program which takes seconds.

This gives us about 40-60 hours or, in other words, about couple weeks in total to process everything. If work would be split among 2-3 people, this could be much faster.

We also have some paper work at the end - to prepare and validate a PDF document, but I don't believe it should be more than 4-6 hours to do this.

Even if Committee works only one day in month  it's still could be done by now !

Where I am wrong with my math ?

In a world of mass communications of which there was nvr more than at present, its unbelievable, especially considering some of the highly opinionated movers and shakers we have on board this danged ship Marie Celeste??.... More like..........Marie Antoinette..........

Marie Antoinette is perhaps best remembered for her legendary (and, some modern historians say, exaggerated) excesses, and for her death: she was executed by guillotine at the height of the French Revolution in 1793, for the crime of treason.

That may be your fate too if you dont continue to post!!
