My reply to Jan

Post by Alan Millhone »

Hello Jan:

A time back 'screenshots' were sent to me concerning Roy Fenster (is he still a problem?) and Billy Runge ?

Billy you need to come onto " Broken Boards " and tell your side of the story . Jan says you use 'many' names to disguise yourself ? Jan's accusations are quite serious and you need to defend yourself. Has someone used your name or is this true what is being said?

Alan,

The name is Ric Finster, and he has now a red exclamation sign behind his name in Kurnik; carrying a red warning saying that he is blacklisted. I am unaware of any recent issues caused by him. Billy on the other hand is very much active, and almost everyday you hear something or actually witness Billy doing the things he loves best
Unfortunately Kurnik management is unable to permanently boot people of their site, because there is no automated ISP address tracking system in place. As such, Kurnik can only boot a “user name”, and not the actual culprit.

I hope that some ppl from Kurnik will post here to testify of Billy’s behaving; I will certainly encourage them to do so.

On another note:
am disappointed that you as the president have already more or less convicted Don of wrong doings. Does that mean you have all the fact, or some of the facts.. even though you are waiting for further info from PA court? Unless you are a hundred percent sure that he took money from a PA trust fund with solely malicious intentions, I would like to see an unbiased and open-minded approach.

The tone towards Don is aggressive, and when Pal submitted addition info that was gathered by him from talking to people involved, you were quickly to point out that:

[1] you two are friends, but be careful who you represent as this matter could 'bite' you at some point
[2] coming from you is second hand information to the forum readers and not all that credible

Meanwhile several others had placed comments (in part) based on assumptions and personal sentiment, and even you added some hearsay to your statements. Only Pal, however, the only on that dares to stand up for Don, is being told that what he shares with us is “second hand and not credible to the forum readers”

I assume the ACF is an independent party in this, and its role is limited to assist in finding the truth and resolving matters for the PA checker players.
As such I think a conciliatory rather then accusatory tone would get matters along faster.

Ask yourself, if Don is innocent, why would he answer questions here on the ACF forum, a forum that has branded him already as a cheater, and answer to the ACF he does not have to answer to. Am sure he will offer an explanation, but don’t make it so discouraging for him to do that.

I am certainly not a fan of Don, and I certainly remember his sometimes very unpleasant postings in BBS and later at the ACF forum. BUT … everyone is innocent till proven guilty. Lets wait till all the facts are on the table

Hello Jan:

I appreciate the correction of Ric Finster's name, I don't know him. If all you say is true on Billie then I am sure he will be on this tread of postings to reply.

I do have papers coming from the Pa. Court and should be in my hands shortly. I will back off for now ......................... If I am wrong on what I have posted I will publicly apologize on the forum . However I do not like seeing any trust funds moved and then no Trustees to oversee the funds. It is great to see Pal step forward to explain and defend Mr. Deweber, however I feel everyone would like to see Mr. deweber himself at some point come onto the forum and fully explain everything.

my point
its a situation that provides the oppurtunity for wrong doing

something can be wrong and still be legal

how about we all be quiet...wait a few more months on don
just not worry about it
it will all work out
ferries flying around outside
world peace
everyone trusts everyone
everything will be ok....

well i dont smoke that stuff and this isnt a recent event

whether or not what he did was for the best isnt the point
the way he went about it is wrong and makes himself
look bad

sorry Alan, hahaha.. his name is Roy Finster .. am bad with names..

i look forward to hearing more once all the documents are on the table, including testimonials of ppl involved. Only when all the pieces are together, we can see the true picture.. If Don is guilty, we have a life time left that we can use to yell at him ( so am sure we can hold off a little bit longer) On the otherhand, if Don is not guilty, or did something unintentionally wrong but that he is willing to correct, we should all be happy (and not having to feel stupid and ashamed because we assumed too much)

Just an open mind and a cool head is all that is needed to invite Don to work togther to get the issue resolved.

jan i have no doubt that you are a good guy-however i would hate to see you on a jury -what part of takeing money to iowa from penn and not telling tony who has run the tourney for years don't you understand?? also his ridiculous plan to send the prize money after the tourney is over-he is a egotist who else would name himself mr.checkers-he wanted complete controll over the money just like the 10th tourney book- i feel sorry for him.

Steve... as you interestingly described me..

suppose I was on the Jury.. and i would vote "GUILTY" just after listening to you and Alan and a few others, without having all the facts, and without having to listen to what Don has to say.. you think that is how the justice system should work? You think I would be a good juror if i did that?Whatever the personal sentiments Steve, we need to respect our fundamental laws and rights as a US citizen.....

To Whom it may concern, I pretty much said all I had to in the previous post and Jan did not really touch up on any of it. So we will probably finish off with a stale mate. He says im racist I say he belongs to a cult who is to say if im wrong. Billy
