Russian Checkers Bug in IYT?

I was not sure where to post this, but I found the following bug (I think) in It's Your Turn in Russian Checkers. But then maybe I do not understand the rules. It did not affect the outcome, but bugs always bother me.

The position was as follows (using Russian checker notation):

Red: e7, Kf8
White: h8, h6, g7, Kc7

As White I played c7-d8, figuring that now my opponent has no move and thus he loses the game. But the program would not end the move there. It forced me to jump the piece at e7. Since I did not jump into d8, I did not think I could continue the move with a jump, and that the move would end the game. I complained, but moved rather than lose on time. Since I won the game in any case, I did not press it, but asked that they fix it. I am not sure my complaint was understood.

Am I not correct that c7-d8 should have ended the game? Has anybody else had a similar experience at IYT?

I can't get to that site (blocked at work) but it looks like the program is not recognizing a block and is inserting something like a null move for red.
Is it possible to set up similar positions to see if this condition rises in all games that should be won via a block? Just resetting this one with the king on b6 or a5 might be enough to test that idea.

the White piece on h8 is not a king. That should answer your question.
