What do you like about checkers?: I enjoy learning more and more as i go. despite its alleged simplicity the game is incredibly complex and rewarding.

I have to say that i have really enjoyed reading this thread and being an spectator on the debate. I personally have very strong opinions but at the end of the day i do know all systems have flaws and "real" democracy is not feasible.

Australians are to the left of americans and to the right of europeans. So i see a lot of sense in what both John and Sune are saying. Our politicians are conservative and liberal only in labels and they are very similar to one another, their differences are very subtle.

BTW I am not touching the "pot" (either variety) issue :)
