John, Thank you, I sent you a PM with my home address....The Online Museum of Checkers History has Exhibit 048LH. It is a two sided wooden board with 10x10 Polish Draughts on one side and 12x12 Canadian Draughts on the other side. This is the exceptional board that they made an exception for! http://www.online-museum-of-checkers-hi ... /id27.html

George,

I have a board which has 64 squares on one side and 100 squares on the other. We are holding a 100 squares tournament in Cambridge, England over the weekend 30 April/1 May. Don't miss it if you can!

Newsletter is in the post.

John.

John, that is a handy board! The Cambridge 10x10 Tournament could have some big names in it, as the World Championship Tournament in May in Holland will have the top 20 players competing for the Title in International Draughts. When it comes to GAYP Checkers, I am Millard Hopper old school. Yet, checkers is criticized for having "too many" draws. That leads me to my fascination with Multiathlon Checkers. It takes real cross-board skill to play the above Las Vegas Tri-Combo. To my way of thinking, Multiathon Checkers events for top players is an alternative to balloting to avoid draws. I am very impressed with checkers players who are masters in two or more major varieties of checkers. That would include Marcel Deslauriers and Mr. Alex. Marcel Deslauriers was the Canadian Draughts Champion (1927-28) and International Draughts World Champion (1956). Thank you for sending the newsletter with the results to my favorite tournament. --George Hay
