My animations use pdn, and a php algorithm to format the input to work into Hans' animator.
Writing the algorithm was difficult, but storage is simple and universal.

Matt writes in part: I am a little worried that this tabular output may not display as desired with some browsers.

What-up *Home Slice? =) just saw this, sorry for the delayed response. Next time just yell: 'Hey knothead, read this post over here!'

Seems there may be a slight problem on a few of those pups. Here's an exmaple:

*Have you seen that Cheetoe's commercial yet, where the guy sits on a bag of chips and it explodes filling the air with orange dust? HA! Love it.

I am wanting to check for attempted entries of problems that maybe have already been submitted. I wanted others opinions on colors reversed. Should these two problems be able to both be submitted? I see that these two positions most likely aren't arrived at the same way, so it is something I am not sure that should be allowed or not.

P.S. It is possible that submitting of games will be allowed after some time.

I'm not sure how that applies to the question that was asked in any sense whatsoever. Please only reply to this thread with messages that apply to this thread such that you don't waste time of others or myself -- thanks in advance.

Hi Matthew,

I don't see where having both of these problems is needed or helpful, the way I look at it, they are the same problem, the board position numbers change in the solutions when the colors are reversed but the problem is the same. (two solutions to each color combination)

Red to move and win:
15-19 or 14-18

Colors reversed

White to move and win:
18-14 or 19-15

Regards, "Pal" Bucker

insult me again and show up at a tournament i show up at......
there are nice ways to say things

Please critique this country chooser for me: http://draughts.info/tmp.html

Also, what are the divided territories of australia referred to as? I know Canada's to be provinces, of course.

Thanks

Edit: I used http://flashimap.com/swf/world_combo_all.swf for the countries listings, as this is a layout I plan to try to imitate the design of. Please someone knowledgeable let me know about the bordering islands of Australia. I am not sure how these are nicely referred to as other than Oceania....

Do not threaten other users or myself on the forum here, please. I do not desire input from a person who chooses to live and present such behavior, so please take your words elsewhere. It is a waste of my time and others to read such as you have written it.

If you want your input to be taken seriously such as what you mentioned of a continent or whatever it might be, then please do as noted above.

If you had quoted the above text, you would see it is not the last and only pertinent question to me at this moment in this thread. Not to appear selfish, but this is a thread started by myself that is dedicated to a project that I am the only person working on. Sorry if I am seeming picky about the particular persons who I respect enough to accept input from; I hope that in the future you can write in such a way where you can be regarded the same. The more respectable players this game has, the better!

A note about quoting text: if you click the quote button beside a message, it will take the intended message and quote it for you. This helps for readability in determining if someone actually said those words or if you are trying to rephrase them. Readability is important in a forum... this is the only reason I am taking the time to say the above words to you.

Don't mind Patrick, he probably had a little too much to drink tonight :)

Immature response to him Matthew. Just ignore it and move on. Let the moderators control what goes on the board and what does not. If you have a problem, then Private Message a moderator instead of posting a message that is clearly used to just make the problem worse.

I think the moderators are Alan Milhone and Dr. Richard Beckwith.

I guess it was a little bit. Sorry about that guys; I was annoyed at that moment. I am used to forums where many many members exists, so moderating of the threads is more rapid. Another thread where moderation needed: http://www.usacheckers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=45

To go back onto topic, thanks Pal for the note. If anyone has advice on allowing or disallowing color reversed problems to be submitted as questioned above, please let me know. Thanks in advance

They look good to me.

BTW: Try to make it clear who moves in which direction, i.e. either you should always have the red single corner on the right hand side or you should have the numbers on the board.
Also you should tell whose move it is...
