Aricle from Cleveland Plain Dealer Newspaper:

Few factual inaccuracies though, but overall not too bad article.

Thanks, Nick ! Everyone needs luck, I am not exception. And everyone needs support.

Michele even brought from Italy 4 of 5 fans, partners and supporters. And I perfectly understand this.

In my first World Title Match with Ron King, GAYP in 2000 in ICHF Petal, Carl Reno and James Morrison assisted me and stayed for the whole week with me in ICHF. Without their help I would never have a chance to drew match.

Concerning moves when I am in doubts ... I usually use coins and it works very well for me. In Irish Open 2007 when I played with grandmaster Shane McCosker in last round, I used coin which suggested me to play a losing move. I decided to follow advise and was awarded with win. There were couple other cases. But I never use nickels or dimes, only quarters.

When you and other kibitzors will be watching my games with Michele (many thanks in advance to John Acker) - please be kind - we both are humans only and it is a human privelgy make mistakes. Whoever makes less mistakes will be a winner of event !

Good luck in your match Alex. I am rooting for you to win and think you will. And your book is fantastic! I don't know if there has ever been a checker book written with as much depth and analysis as your book. Defintely a good buy!
