In my comments in Sixth to this position in note H3 I gave only 3-8, which leads to difficult draw for white. See diagram below.

Al Lyman, American National mail Champion, mentioned to me today, that 2-7 creates even more problem for white. In his original email Al thought that red can even win after 2-7, but later we find a wonderful draw.
