Wilma said, "She was giving up the MCA newsletter (retiring). Darlene Stallsworth will take it over in August. Her husband, George is our new MCA president. They will make a good team and will do a good job. She is very computer savvy and seems to be enthusiastic about doing the news. I will still be secretary/treasurer of MCA."
Wilma Wolverton has done a long and wonderful editorship with the MCA newsletter. I have a copy of every issue published from 1995 to date.
I got this off to Wilma who said she was planning to have a picture and article on Colton and the Governor but lacked the room on this issue of MCA Newsletter, maybe in the next one.John Cardie was on the radio, here is a link to the interview.

Thank you so much Bob for the link to that wonderful radio interview which I enjoyed tremendously. It was evident from the interview that Mr John Cardie is a real special person. Great stuff.
Re: Radio Interview
Yes, John is a very special person and a great friend too.
He has been conducting checker tournaments in the elementary schools in the Denver, CO area, I will post some pictures when I get the time to scan them.
