4 Years of Checker Maven

With the Saturday December 6 edition, The Checker Maven completes four years of uninterrupted, on-time publication with never a missed or late edition. Many thanks to our thousands of weekly readers for your ongoing support and encouragement. G-d willing we will continue to publish for many years to come.

This week, return to fabled Newark, New Jersey, in 1946, and meet a new character, Benny, in our latest story, which features wonderful photos (kindly furnished by the Old Newark Society) and an entertaining checker problem.
