Hello Everyone:

PLEASE read the above new forum members profile and then reply as to your thoughts .

I had not caught his profile till I received a private message from a loyal forum member.

I was going to delete him, but wanted all to read what he posted.

Sincerely:

Please forgive me for my lack of computer literacy, but I am unable to find his profile anywhere on this site.

The Search engine gives no record of his profile either.

Is there a link to his profile?

Unfortunately for Mr. Selby, we have long had a back-order problem with getting swirled pool checker pieces in stock. This delay in his order is regrettable, and we will not have this particluar item from Crisloid for a few more weeks. We can't send what we don't have.

Over time, Roger Blaine and I have sent numerous messages to Mr. Selby's e-mail address (the one linked to his Paypal order) to address his problem and to present him some options (wait, substitute, or refund), but we never got a reply. Roger recently went out of his way to find another source of swirled checker pieces, so his order should be on its way.

I personally am OK with First Ammendement and never challenge it  I don't see anything wrong or dirty language in his message except high level of angerity which is absolutely acceptable and understandable.

I agree with forum, we have made an attempt to make contact. I have a set of swirl and solid red & white which I will give him if he comes to our Greensboro Ty. That's all we can do. The ball is in his court.

Hello Jay,

Thanks!

That was a big help and worked like a charm.

I've always been able to find user profiles on other posting sites, but for some reason, the format of this one eluded me.

Thanks again!

:D

Along with Richard, I have tried to contact Mr. Selby for several weeks now from multiple e-mail addresses. For whatever reason, he never replies. I continually get e-mails saying that he has trouble getting ahold of us, but it's very difficult to give someone contact information who can't receive it.

Please activate him Alan and perhaps he can explain using the forum why he hasn't responded to our e-mails.

For those who are not Forum members and are wondering what this is all about,......here is what is contained in his (nselby) profile...

"What do you like about checkers?:

Getting my damn order of red and white swirl checkers that I ordered last November. I have emailed your president and Roger Blaine and the emails have not gone through. I've had enough! When I find the mailing address of the ACF, I may consider fraud charges. I've had enough of this run around !!

Why do have email addresses that are worth nothing?

I sent several to your president Alan & several to Roger Blaine.

I realize a set of checkers is not a major deak, but after point, your organiztion better get its act together.

I have patient with them far too long. Some in the ACF needs to look into this before I suspect fraud."
