NJ state tournament.. how do we get it? i wanna help

i would love to have a yearly NJ state tournament here..i really would..id def join and help organize with someone if they wanted to set it up..im definitely up for that..i could put time and effort in to get this going..when was the last time there was a NJ state tourney? i mean i remember in my yahoo checker days...we had some ok players in the state of jersey...under the radar..im determined to make it happen..whos with me? or is this a longshot?
