I for one breathed a huge sigh of relief when I heard Barack Obama won a second term. There's no way the world is ready yet for four years of a Republican mismanaged America. I hope the religious right sits up and takes notice.

I am glad that the campain is now over.

Now it is time to go to work and stop playing the political blaming game.

It was a bit provocative to use the word "comrades" for the thread, and I realize that the term "enemies of freedom" actually topped this.

But before we start to launch the policial WMD (Words of Maximal Disparage), may I ask for a cease fire so that we can leave the bunker and take a breath of fresh air?

All through your election run-up we have been hearing the opinions of deadhead Republicans on gays and rape.

As far as the Republican Party is concerned, it seems as though it and the crackpot religionists that support it were seeking the genocidal slaughter of gays. And what about rape victims that seek abortions?
