Chess Woman GrandMaster Alla Kushnir (8/11/1941 - 8/11/2013) passed away in Tel Aviv August 11, 2013 at her 72 birthday. She played 3 World Championship matches, immigrated from USSR to Israel in 1972 and was successful in her career in Israel. See details here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alla_Kushnir.
In Israel she was archeological professor in university, but also enjoyed her life hobby - numismatic, and at one time she was a head of Israel Numismatic Society.
Alla Kushnir passed away.
