11 man ballot 2015 news.
Happy 2015 to everyone !
Here you can find more details about 11 man ballot news this year.
http://www.nccheckers.org/NCCA/2015%20W ... iseyev.htm
1) My World Title match with challenger Tim Laverty will be held in Burlington, NC on January 16-19 and, if necessary (in case of tie after 16 games), extend one more day (4 games) to Tuesday.
2) I also have challenge from the current GAYP World Champion Sergio Scarpetta who wants to compete for 11 man ballot World title. He submitted his challenge to me in Beijing and I accepted it, but match with Tim Laverty (official challenger) will be play first.
If I'll be able to retain my title in January, we have unofficial agreement with Sergio to play match over Memorial Day in ICHF. Charles Walker kindly agreed to host match in Petal if we don't comeup with anything better. Sergio will travel (more likely) for his own expense and all other expanses will be covered.
If Tim will be a winner of January match and title holder, Sergio has to talk with him and I will have an extra vacation week and spend more time with my family !
Your donations for my match with Tim and (maybe) Sergio - highly wanted and appreciated !
Respectfully,
AM

We need contributions to build the Match Prize Fund. Anyone who give $100 gets a nice 15 oz. Travel/Commuter Beverage Mug.
Any amount contribution would be greatly appreciated. We will have a drawing of those names, and the lucky contributor gets a mug.

Re: 11 man ballot 2015 news.
After 3 days, 12 games match ended 6-1-5 (17-7) to my favor. I will post rest of games later. Last day was even more bloody: I won 3 games and was in lost in the 4th game ! I want to thanks personally all contributors, JR Smith and Travis Weddle for their terrific help and work.
My 11 man ballot World Title match with next challenger - Sergio Scarpetta, Italy is on the way. Donations are highly wanted and appreciated !
As I said before, me and Sergio have preliminary agreement to play match over Memorial Day. As of now we have at least one bid from Charles Walker - ICHF.

Congrats Alex! I do hope that USA can at least keep one title!
Re: 11 man ballot 2015 news.
Congratulations Alex, I had a very busy weekend and didn't get to see any of the games as they were being played online. It's no big surprise to me but I'm glad to learn you successfully defended your title.

In the last game Tim tried to repeat moves looking for draw and going to another day. I was OK with this scenario because I saw some play improvement for white.
A. This loses but white should play it carefully here to secure a draw.
