Help needed with Checkerboard

I have recently re installed checkerboard but it does not have the option to install the 6 piece database. I have the 8 piece database saved on my hdd. how do I install it. Also, how do I install the oca pdn database and what program do I need to open pdn files with. I used to be able to open them with word 97 but cannot do so now with word 2010. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks..

You need to open engine options - from there you can select the directory where you have the database saved. You can use checkerboard to open pdn files and you can also use oca since it is a pdn file. You just need to open the oca it doesn't need to be installed. You can also open a pdn file with word 2010 although that is a perverse idea .
